I would like to thank you and the rest of the helpers yesterday for what turned out to a superb day out, for me at least.  I've never got so muddy for ages which just added to the enjoyment.  The checkpoints were well managed, very friendly and just the right mix of food and drinks.  The food and the finish was just what I needed and very welcome.  I hope you managed to raise a lot of funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and hope to see you again next year.

Thanks

Simon Heys

Just a note to thank you and your colleagues for organising such an excellent ramble. I haven't really walked that area of the Peak District before and it has whetted my appetite.

Could you e-mail me a copy of the 26 mile route as I would like to see what it entails before I maybe have a go next year?

Hope you raised lots of money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

With regards,

Sarah (Harmer)

Thanks for a fantastic day, Georgia Brown and I are now back home safe and sound infact she wanted to go to the park for a run around, no hope really!

We will definitely be back next year.  Do you e-mail out results list of the event, as would be interested to look? Thanks again.

Charlie Scott

Thanks, once again, for a fabulous day, made especially important for me as I have had knee surgery for a torn cartilage and not able to walk for 6 months. This was my first challenge walk and I could not have chosen a better one. Good route, well signposted, good organization and god food. See you next year

Excellent, well organised event - many thanks.

Perhaps in view of increasing numbers you might consider more age categories. It's difficult for us geriatrics to compete with someone 20 years younger!!

Editors comment – at least you can do a marathon many 20 years younger cannot.

To all concerned...Yet another fantastic day. Old and new faces alike there can be no denying the complete pleasure this event brings, for all abilities. Great course. You all deserve medals for the effort you put in priceless. See you all again next year.

Thank you so much for a fantastic event over the weekend. It was my first time doing the Dipper and I found it exceptionally well organised with amazingly friendly and cheery volunteers at all of the check points. Please pass on my thanks to all those involved - everybody at race registration, the race starter, time keepers, staff at the checkpoints, the ladies doing a fantastic job in the kitchen throughout the day, those organising the prize giving, marshals out on the course, and anybody else I've missed - it was truely a team effort and I think you ALL did a fabulous job - THANK YOU. My only complaint is that the winner's trophies don't bounce when dropping them - an embarrassing lesson that I've learnt for next year :-)

I will be back and will certainly recommend the event to friends and family.

Kindest Regards,

Adela Salt

Hello DDD - just a quick e-mail to say thank you a wonderful event although we did start to rename it "Mud-Dale Dipper" over the first 13 miles or so.

Seriously though the friendliness of the marshals/ helpers were a credit to your superb organisation and should be very proud of all your achievements.

Until next year
