We aim to recruit new members in the coming year by presenting a varied and interesting programme, encouraging them to join-in with existing members and make a positive contribution to the Club's activities.
Organise social events to ensure there is something for everyone including partners and to encourage shared events with Inner Wheel of Matlock.
Promote our fund raising and social activities in the local press, via the radio, our own web site and other means of communication.

International
As part of Rotary International we aim to support the following international charities
Aquabox in Wirksworth, Collect second hand tools for the Tools for Self Reliance Project, support overseas charities such as, Wheelchair Foundation, Andhra Pradesh Project India (benches for Indian Children), Bicycles for Africa, Eye Camp and the Kankudibi Clinic in the Gambia.
We also aim to continue our strong links with our twinned club RC Silves in Portugal.
Fund Raising
Our target is to raise £20,000 in the year to fund the clubs charitable aims
We intend to do this via a series of organised events throughout the year with the help of club members including: the Dovedale Dipper a circular 26 mile run and walk from Hartington, a Charity Golf Day at Matlock Golf Club, a stall at the Matlock Victorian Market. local wishing wells and a new event called the Tissington Triange a sponsored cycle ride in the Peak District National Park.
Most club members get involved and all find it very rewarding.
